English: Seaman Apprentice Amanda Horman, information systems technician, center, practices middle block and rear jabs on Petty Officer 3rd Class Tommy Maderacaceres, information systems technician, left, and Seaman Apprentice Jason Williams, information systems technician, during a security reaction force basic course aboard the amphibious command ship USS Mount Whitney. SRF-B is comprised of small weapons training, tactical team movements, and non-lethal weapons to include mechanical advantage control hold baton training, defensive skills, and body positioning drills. Mount Whitney is the U.S. 6th Fleet flagship homeported in Gaeta, Italy, and operates with a hybrid crew of U.S. sailors and Military Sealift Command civil service mariners.
