Summary
[edit]DescriptionSecond World War Memorial Wall in Pontypridd - geograph.org.uk - 4402126.jpg |
English: Second World War Memorial Wall in Pontypridd
Unveiled in Ynysangharad War Memorial Park in 2011, the wall records the names of the 491 local people who died in World War II. The list was compiled by local councils and the Royal British Legion, whose local Secretary stated "It is so important that the names of those who gave so much are not forgotten. The Memorial will embellish Ynysangharad Park's status as a War Memorial park." The Great War Memorial Wall is nearby. |
