English:

George H. Bartell Sr., the founder of the oldest family-owned drugstore chain in the United States, opened his second store here at 506 2nd Avenue. The building was soon demolished to make way for the construction of the Smith Tower at 2nd Avenue and Yesler that opened in 1914.
