Summary

[edit]
Description
English: iss070e002574 (Oct. 7, 2023) -- Clouds hover around the coast of Tunisia as the International Space Station soars 260 miles above. Near the center peak where the coastline meets the Mediterranean Sea, the pink salt lake of Sebkha of Moknine is visible. With little inflow from rivers and streams, the lake is fed by rainfall which flushes vibrant colors into the basin, leaving behind remnants of a "salt pan," the white crust of salt and minerals bordering the water.
