Notes Oeuvre en relation : Le fonds Erard, Gaveau & Pleyel, appartenant autrefois à la Compagnie d'Assurance du Midi, puis au Groupe AXA, possède un portrait peint, en tout point identique de Sébastien Erard (Huile ; 68 x 57 cm) conservé aujourd'hui au Palais Lascaris, à Nice, comme copie du XIXe siècle d'après J. L. David.
