Item 54485, Engineering Department Photographic Negatives (Record Series 2613-07), =Seattle Municipal Archives. English: Looking south (toward Downtown) on Westlake Avenue N from Valley Street, Seattle, Washington, U.S., 1945. To the west (just out of frame), as Valley crosses Westlake it becomes Roy Street. Although many of these buildings survived another 50+ years, few remain today, as the neighborhood has undergone rapid change since the late 1990s. |
