Summary

[edit]
Description

516 Yale Avenue N. in the Cascade neighborhood, Seattle, Washington, USA. This building dates at least from 1905. It is one the last small frame utilitarian buildings from its era that has survived in Cascade. During much of it's history, it has been a combination residence and workshop.

I believe (but I'm not sure) current development plans for the neighborhood preserve this building, but it will soon be dwarfed by a 5-story office building next door.

There is a good writeup about this building at Summary for 516 Yale AVE / Parcel ID 0209000025, Seattle Department of Neighborhoods.
