Description

Norvell House, 3306 NW 71st St, Ballard, Seattle, Washington. The house has city landmark status.

The last known Norvell to live in the house was Hazel Norvell, who bought the house in 1949 with her husband, James, and lived there until her death in 2005. The house was a must-see at Halloween because Hazel's son Brian, his wife Kathie and their children James, Andrew and Natalie embraced the house, turning it into a 'haunted spook house' as it was called by friends and neighbors. Many people were afraid to even walk up the front steps. The house saw hundreds of guests on Halloween for years.
