Summary
[edit]DescriptionSeattle - 2nd Ave Extension 03.jpg |
Second Avenue Extension in the Pioneer Square neighborhood of Seattle, Washington. The street, cut through in 1929, breaks through the grid of the Maynard plat at an angle. Looking roughly northwest from the corner of S. Jackson Street; about 150 feet (50 meters) behind this, Second Avenue Extension connects to Fourth Avenue South. Looking forward, at Yesler Way (the Smith Tower is visible on right just past Yesler Way) this becomes just plain Second Avenue in the Maynard/Boren plat. |
