Description Launch of a Seaspar missile from the U.S. Navy tank landing ship USS Tioga County (LST-1158), in 1965. The LST was used as a testbed for a ship-launched version of the AIM-7 Sparrow III air-to-air missile, which later became the RIM-7 Sea Sparrow.
