No driveof the same distance, anywhere in the world, affords so muchpleasure to the tourist as does this eight-mile drive to the famousFalls of Montmorency. The charming and romantic Falls ofLorette should also be visited. Of them a writer says: TheLorette cascades would give fame and fortune to any spot inEngland or France. The Falls of Montmorency may now be reached by railroad, the(Quebec, Montmorency & Charlevoix Ry having recently opened up.This road also extends to St. Anne de Beaupre, an interestingspot for tourists, both on account of its scenic attractions and thefact that many thousand pilgrims visit it every year, attracted bythe miraculous cures attributed to La Bonne St. Anne.
