Summary
[edit]DescriptionSeanor Farm and public footpath - geograph.org.uk - 617704.jpg |
English: Seanor Farm and public footpath. The photograph shows a public footpath that connects Seanor Farm¹ (ahead, easterly) with Little Morton Road¹ (behind the viewpoint, north-westerly).
The footpath crosses the bridge on the left and then follows the fence (illuminated a little by the sunlight) toward a stile near the mobile home. The bridge is over one of the tributaries of Locko Brook¹ and the photograph was taken from a point where one of its joins the main flow (to the right). Behind the viewpoint is a stile, near which this route is crossed by another 617650. The other footpath connects 354240¹, Lower Pilsley (right, southerly) with Dark Lane¹, North Wingfield (left, northerly). For another photograph of the footpath, taken from the same viewpoint but facing the opposite direction, click here 617662. For a more easterly (ahead) photograph of this public footpath, click here 617711. ¹ Road/Farm/Stream name information from OS Maps at:- Elgin, http://www.elgin.gov.uk/ and the Mapping Portal of the Derbyshire Partnership, http://derbyshiremaps.derbyshire.gov.uk/ |
