Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Sean still has a day or so in an environment of marginal water temperatures and moderate wind shear to strengthen. After that, southwesterly shear will pick up notably and cause the storm to weaken. The mid-latitude trough seen over the eastern United States should cause Sean to pick up speed to the northeast, taking the storm into cooler waters and stronger shear. A cold front is expected to cause extratropical transition in about 36 hours. This image was taken by GOES East at 1515Z on November 10, 2011.
