Seal Matris: Female: Floral
Description
English: A lead vesica-shaped (pointed oval) matrix, face in relatively poor condition. Raised suspension loop at top of reverse, above an inverted fleur-de-lys (integrally cast with the matrix). Device of two flowers viewed from the side, one at each end of an S-shaped "stem"; each end of the S is a petal, and two further petals in the loops formed by the S. Device is separated from legend by a line; traces of a similar line are visible around the outer edge of the matrix face.

Measurements: 27 mm x 44 mm (approx.).
