Description
Nederlands: Sculptuur Locomotief met de naam Bergambacht uit 2014. Opgebouwd uit stalen buizen. Gesigneerd: Verdo staalconstructies Gerard Wilco (Verdo Staalconstructies B.V. uit Bergambach) Locatie: Rotonde, kruising N210 en N207. Van 1914 tot augustus 1942 reed hier het treintje van Gouda naar Schoonhoven. Na het opheffen van het spoorlijntje werd het ijzer door de Duitsers in beslag genomen en de bielzen werden door omwonenden gebruikt als brandhout. De spoorbaan werd afgegraven en het zand werd gebruikt voor het ophogen van begraafplaats IJsselhof in Gouda.
