La tunique sacrée (peplos) d'Athéna remise au grand prêtre du culte (archon basileus) par un enfant (garçon) Panneau de la frise des Panathénées (procession qui avait lieu tous les quatre ans) qui courait à l'extérieur du Parthénon sur l'Acropole à Athènes. fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Panath%C3%A9n%C3%A9es Le Parthénon était dédié à la déesse Athéna. Construit au milieu du Vè siècle avant J.-C., c'était le temple le plus important de l'Athènes antique. Les panneaux de la frise extérieure, certaines sculptures du fronton et plusieurs métopes ont été amenés en Angleterre au début du XIXè siècle par Lord Elgin.
