| Description |
English: One of the best places in Surrey I have come across for amazing sunsets is the nature reserve on the Watercolour estate in Redhill. It is an excellent place for walking the dogs and viewing waterfowl on the lagoons created by the old gravel pits and 'fullers earth' workings. The lagoons are deep and the slag heaps high though they are now grass covered and offer an amazing view over the railway line towards Reigate Hill. They also offer a great view of the scarp face of the North Downs from Reigate to Godstone. This is typical of the sunsets on offer during winter, when the weather allows, |
