English: Scrub where tall pines now grow! A comparison photograph. See 1156868. Although taken from the opposite direction, this clearly indicates how a forest landscape can so quickly change and be changed.
As well as the more commonly encountered species of bird, Willow Warbler, Chiffchaff, Blackcap, Whitethroat and Garden Warbler for example, other species encountered here at that time were Nightjar, Tree Pipit and Redpoll. |
