Description We passed through Hanksville, Utah on the way from Goblin Valley to Kanab in August 2010. No offense to the few residents of Hanksville but there really isn't a lot there - a highway junction, some gas stations, and a few businesses and houses - and a lot of desolate country all around. As we were leaving we noticed this scrap metal art in front of an abandoned motel - no signs as to what it was. The sculptures were interesting and probably the highlight of the town.
