Description
English: Scorhill Stone Circle, Dartmoor – If you rate Dartmoor's 14 circles by (ease of access) x (size of the circle) then this probably tops the list. The circle is set in a deep bowl of hills so you look down on it as you approach and it is close to the river which is nice. On the other hand, easy access means lots of people and size is not everything! White Hill circle is 2 miles away over the hill in the background and is my favourite for overall setting tied with The Dancers on Stall Moor because of the nearby river.
