Description
English: Science Museum, oscillating steam engine Single cylinder oscillating engine by Harvey & Co, Hayle 1870. Used at Campden Hill Waterworks and later moved to Hammersmith Waterworks. It was used as a workshop drive and is now preserved at the Science Museum. One of very few surviving stationary steam applications of this design.
