Deutsch: Blick zum Kernbereich des Areals des reformpädagogischen Landerziehungsheims Schule am Meer im Loog auf der ostfriesischen Insel Juist in Preußen. Links im Bild das Schulhauptgebäude Diesseits mit seinen Anbauten nach Osten und Süden, rechts das L-förmige Wohngebäude Arche, zwischen den beiden im Hintergrund ein kleiner Abschnitt des Gebäudes Westfalenhalle. Die Aufnahme wurde offenbar aus einer Dachgaube des Gebäudes do gemacht. Am linken unteren Bildrand erkennt man das Dach des Hauses der früheren Familien Ubben bzw. Mamminga, des ältesten bis heute erhaltenen Insulanerhauses, das die S.a.M. als Unterkunft für Lehrer nutzte. Der sich zwischen Schulhauptgebäude und dem Standort des Fotografen erstreckende Trampelpfad durch die Dünenlandschaft wird heute als Loogster Pad bezeichnet. In dem eingezäunten Bereich im Vordergrund rechts entstand in der Folge der Botanische Garten des Internats. |
