English: Written on verso: [Message:] Dear Sister-mine - Will be expecting you Mon. on the 7:30 P.M. train from Tacoma. It is the Palmer branch - N.P. [Northern Pacific] - leaves Tacoma at 5:30. Have lots of lovely places to show you both, and don't make less than a weeks visit, - sure stay over Sat. night because we have a fine plan then. Bring the music & come prepared to rough it a little. Make muver [sic] come too please. Lots of love to all of you. Impatiently awaiting your coming. This photographic postcard, made about 1914, shows the schoolhouse at Bayne, Washington, a company mining town northeast of Enumclaw. A building belonging to the Carbon Coal & Clay Company can be seen behind the school. Original title: School, Bayne Wn.
