Summary

[edit]
Description
Quelle: K. Gutschmidt, H. Schmidt, T. Witkowski (Hrsg.): Die Gewässernamen Brandenburgs. (Brandenburgisches Namenbuch, Teil 10; Berliner Beiträge zur Namenforschung, Band 11). Begründet von Gerhard Schlimpert, bearbeitet von Reinhard E. Fischer. Verlag Hermann Böhlaus Nachfolger, Weimar 1996, ISBN 3-7400-1001-0 S. 260.
English: Village Werder, river Spree, Drobschsee and Schwenowsee in a Schmettau map from 1767/87 (map extract). Today, Werder is a part of the municipality Tauche in the District Oder-Spree, Brandenburg, Germany. The double designation „Dropschsee“ is incorrect; the western (left) lake is documented as Schwenowsee at the latest since 1514.
