Das Gut Schönow in der Uckermark (Gemeinde Passow) befand sich seit dem 13. Jahrhundert bis 1863 im besitz der Familie von Sydow.

Um 1830/40 wurde anstelle des alten Gutshauses das neugotische "Schloss" errichtet.

1863 erwarb der Rittmeister Gustav Karl Knickebusch zu Schwedt das Anwesen; ab 1902 gehörte es bis 1945 der Familie von

Lettow-Vorbeck.

Nach der Enteignung 1945 diente das Schloss als Gemeindeamt, als Konsum und teilweise als Wohnraum.

Nach einem Brand 1990 wurden Dach und Fassade des Schlosses von 1999 bis 2002 saniert und die Brandschäden behoben.

Für das seit 20 Jahren ungenutzte Gebäude wird ein Käufer gesucht.
