Deutsch: Schloss Schönfeld liegt im Osten des Landes Sachsen in der von Dresden eingemeindeten Ortschaft Schönfeld. Ursprünglich stand auf der von Wasser umgebebenen Schlossinsel statt des heutigen Renaissanceschlosses eine Wasserburg aus dem 11. Jahrhundert. Diese zum erstmal 1315 erwähnte Burg wurde 1543 vom Hofbaumeister de:Hans von Dehn-Rothfelser erworben, der die alte Burg zu einem Schloss im Stil der Sächsischen Renaissance umbauen ließ. 1573/74 kaufte der kurfürstlichen Kammerrat und Kanzler Georg Cracow Schloss Schönfeld und das damalige Rittergut Schönfeld. Unter Georg Cracow erhielt das Schloss Schönfeld seine heutige Gestalt; über dem Eingangsportal des Schlosses weist das gemeinsame Wappen von Georg Cracow und seiner zweiten Ehefrau Christina Funck als die Bauherren hin. Nach dem Tod von Georg Cracow (1572) wechselte das Schloss mehrmals den Besitzer, bis es schließlich 1787 vom sächsischen Kurfürsten Friedrich August III. samt Rittergut erworben wurde. 1837 diente das Schloss als Gericht und Fronfeste und ab 1856 als Finanzgericht. In der DDR-Zeit wurde das in Staatsbesitz befindliche Schloss öffentlich genutzt; in den Räumen befanden sich der örtliche Kindergarten, ein Kinosaal und die Gemeindebücherei. 1994 begann die Sanierung des Gebäudes. Nachdem die Arbeiten längere Zeit geruht hatten, wurden die Sanierung 2008 fortgesetzt. Seit 2005 werden die Räume des Schönfelder Schlosses vom Kunst- und Kulturverein Schloss Schönfeld (e.V) für dessen Vereinstätigkeit und vom Magischen Zirkel „Bartolomeo Bosco“ (e.V) als Veranstaltungsort für öffentliche Zaubershows und als Zauberkunstmuseum genutzt. |
