Deutsch: Fresko mit Darstellung der Jakobsleiter an der Ostseite des Innenhofes von Schloss Rosenau. Das Werk wird Johann Rincolin zugeschrieben (vor 1747).
Das Fresko wurde zuletzt 1971 renoviert. Laut dem zugezogen Restaurator Ludwig Peyscha befand es sich damals in einem äußerst schlechten Zustand. Eine frühere Renovierung erfolgte 1929 im Zuge der Kirchenrenovierung. (Edith und Wilhelm Wagesreither: Kleine Chronik von Schloß Rosenau. Schloß Rosenau 1972.) English: Fresco with a depiction of the Jacob's Ladder in the Schloss Rosenau (Waldviertel, Lower Austria). The fresco is on the east side of the courtyard and is probably a work by Johann Mayer (before 1747). |
