English: Heidelberg Castle, curtain wall (inside) at the southern side of the castle, built in the 16th century as protection against gunfire.
Deutsch: Schloß Heidelberg, Schildmauer an der Südseite zwischen Torturm und "Gesprengtem Turm" (Krautturm). Beide Bilder zeigen die Innenseite der im 16. Jahrhundert errichteten, sehr starken Geschützschildmauer. Sie entstand durch Überbauung einer schwachen Zwingermauer. Linkes Bild: Blick nach Osten (auf den "Gesprengten Turm"); rechtes Bild: Blick nach Süden (rechts der Torturm). |
