Description
Deutsch: Die Linde auf der Schlagd soll anlässlich der Wiedereinsetzung der hessischen Regierung nach der Franzosenherrschaft und zur Erinnerung an die Schlacht von Leipzig von dem Bäckermeister und Stadtvormund Stöber zwischen 1813 und 1815 gepflanzt worden sein. Von der ehemaligen Schlagd Allendorfs, ein Anlegeplatz, an dem die Werrakähne beladen und entladen wurden, ist noch die Kaimauer aus massivem Mauerwerk erhalten. Die Anlage wird als ein bauliches Relikt der Werraschiffahrt aus verkehrsgeschichtlichen Gründen als Kulturdenkmal geschützt. In der Liste der Naturdenkmale des Werra-Meißner-Kreises hat der Baum die Nummer ND 636.007 mit dem Ausweisungsdatum 1. August 1936.
