Summary

Description Introduced, warm season, annual, much-branched herb to 50 cm tall. Plants have scatteredand glandular hairs. Leaves are alternate, opposite at the base, 1–4 cm long, pinnate with filiform lobes to 20 mm long. Heads are numerous, terminal, on filiform peduncles up to 25 mm long; heads are turbinate and about 3 mm diam. Florets are glandular; the ray floret is solitary and yellow. Disc florets are yellow and usually 4–6. Flowering is in summer and autumn. A native of Chile, it grows in disturbed sites and roadsides.
