Description
Italiano: Secondo Schiaparelli, gli abitanti della terra cilindrica di Anassimandro non avrebbero popolato la sua superficie piana, ma quella convessa. In questo modo avrebbero trovato spiegazione vari fenomeni, come la diversa elevazione delle costellazioni nel cielo notturno a seconda della latitudine a cui si trova l'osservatore, le variazioni climatiche, di flora e di fauna, ecc.
English: According to Schiaparelli, the inhabitants of the cylindrical earth of Anaximander did not populate its flat surface, but the convex one. In this way, various phenomena would have been explained, such as the different elevation of the constellations in the sky according to the latitude at which the observer is located, the north-south climatic variations, etc.
