Description
Deutsch: „Wohnhaus in offener Bebauung; Zeugnis der beginnenden Verstädterung in der 2. Hälfte des 19. Jahrhunderts, von ortsbildprägender Bedeutung, in gutem Originalzustand. Datierung: um 1860“ (aus: Kulturdenkmale im Freistaat Sachsen, Landesamt für Denkmalpflege) – Wie der Glanz vergeht, wenn niemand mehr im Haus wohnt, wenn keiner sich um das Haus sorgt . . . Der Löwe als Griff der Haustür ist verrostet. Niemand bringt mehr Schuhe zur Reparatur, niemand mehr läßt seine Tasche reparieren. Nach den Lageplänen in den Bauunterlagen eines Nachbargebäudes wurde dieses Haus des Schuhmachermeisters Becher zwischen 1886 und 1898 errichtet.
