Description Sceau d'une société festive du XVème siècle retrouvé dans les ruines du château de Pinon dans l'Aisne et « conservé au Musée de Lyon ». Il figure un singe costumé en évêque assis sur un trône. Une inscription en caractères gothiques tourne autour : Le scel de levecque de la cyte de pinon (le sceau de l'évêque de la cité de Pinon). Il illustre une tradition très vivante à l'époque dans quantité de villes comme Dijon, Rouen, Sens ou Paris.

Source Extrait de la planche 34 du livre : Les monnaies des évêques, des innocens et des fous ouvrage du XIXème siècle conservé notamment au Cabinet des monnaies, médailles et antiques de la Bibliothèque nationale de France. L'auteur du livre est le Docteur Marcel-Jérôme Rigollot (1786-1854) historien érudit né à Amiens. Un article lui est consacré dans le Wikipédia en anglais. Il n'y en a pas présentement dans le Wikipédia en français.
