Description My favorite place on the Florida tour is Fort Jefferson National Historic Park in the Dry Tortugas. Located two hours by boat off of Key West, this is the first piece of land available to birds migrating north during spring. Lots of passerines in breeding plumage end up on this island during April and early May allowing for great photo opportunities. This a two year old male given the yellow green splotches...
