Summary
[edit]DescriptionScarborough Post Office, 11-15 Aberdeen Walk, Scarborough (geograph 6857229).jpg |
English: Grade II Listed former Post Office built in 1909. The architect was Walter Pott and it opened in June 1910 and closed on 8th May 2019. Prior to the post office, assuming the street wasn't re-numbered between 1893 and 1909, I find; 11 John Brown Dentist, 12 John Eddon confectioner, 13 Harry Beadnell apartments, 14 William Postill draper and agent to Sitton's Parcel Office; receiving office and nothing seems to be listed for 15. |
