Description Arms of Sayer of Pulham St Mary, Norfolk: Gules, a chevron (ermine) between three seapies argent (Burke, Sir Bernard, The General Armory, London, 1884, p.902 "Sayer of Pulham, Norfolk"). Seapies being oyster-catchers (Eurasian oystercatcher (Haematopus ostralegus)), a black and white bird, termed pied, as a magpie.
