Description
English: Copper alloy enamel inlaid discoidal escutcheon from a Late Celtic hanging bowl. The gilt reverse is slightly concave and there are patches of solder around the edge. The enamel in the latter is yellow while the remainder appears white, green and pale brown, all probably as a result of decay. Diameter 45mm. Thickness or height at centre 3mm.
