| Description |
English: Sawdon Station. This photograph was taken from the footpath on 430777, Brompton By Sawdon and shows the platform at Sawdon Station on the long defunct Scarborough to Helmsley railway (closed 1951).
The station, which is now rented as holiday accommodation, was called Sawdon Station so as not to confuse it with other 'Bromptons'. See also this photograph by Willem van Boom that shows the other side of the buildings, 268835. |
