| Description |
English: Savernake (High Level) railway station (site), Wiltshire Opened in 1898 on the Midland & South Western Junction Railway's line from Swindon to Andover, this station closed to passengers in 1958 and completely in 1969. View south east towards Grafton & Burbage and Andover. Although partly obscured by vegetation, the two platforms can clearly be seen, as can the former station building. Recent rain had flooded the area between the two platforms. |
