Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Saunderton Split - railway tracks diverge to pass a hill. When this railway from High Wycombe to Princes Risborough was built just after 1900, it had to get through or past Hemley Hill. The solution was to take one track into a tunnel, but curve the other track away from it without a tunnel. This photo is taken looking South from a road bridge near Saunderton Lee.
