Description

Historical strainer made from brass and willow; used by the german fire service when pumping from open waters. Definitely dates back to before 1936, when Storz couplings were made a standard - this strainer still has a threaded coupling.

Historischer Saugkorb aus Weidengeflecht und Kupfer. Wurde definitiv vor der Einführung der Storz-Kupplung 1936 hergestellt. Fotografiert im Stuttgarter Feuerwehrmuseum (http://www.stuttgarter-feuerwehrmuseum.de/), 2007
