Saucer BROOCH
Description
English: Cast copper-alloy saucer brooch. Angular rim, edges slightly damaged. Central ring-and-dot motif surrounded by five running spirals within a plain border. Single lug hinge and catch broken, pin missing. Sub-oval perforation close to the centre of one of the spirals and the reverse of this is uneven and slightly recessed. Dark, almost black, even patina with no trace of gilding surviving. Height: 4mm
