| Description |
English: Sargill Parks, Low Abbotside, Wensleydale Sargill Parks is an uninhabited area of high fell rising from 400m to over 500m. The ground is covered by heather and rough marshy reed and tussocks of grass and is dangerous to cross due to the many shake holes.
Note the patches of burnt heather in the distance where the old heather has been burnt this week to improve the ground-nesting habitat for grouse. |
