Description This is a rare example of central fibrosis in a granuloma in sarcoidosis. In sarcoidosis fibrosis of granulomas usually begins at the periphery of the granuloma and spreads centrally. In this case it is possible the the central fibrosis represents a healed area of central necrosis.
