English: The Sar'a village Mukhtar House was taken over by Israeli forces, once the village was captured on 14 July 1948 and all the residents fled. In December 1948 Kibbutz Tzora was founded and located initially in the house and its surroundings. The huts were built by the Kibbutz members next to the house. Later in 1950, the Kibbutz moved to a new location 2km south.
