Sítio magnífico, onde se conjuga a obra da natureza com a notável obra do homem. O Santuário do Bom Jesus do Monte encontra-se no cimo do Monte Espinho, rodeado de uma frondosa mata. A construção é dos séculos XVIII e XIX, cruzando os estilos barroco, rococó e neoclássico. Composto pelas capelas da Via Sacra e pela Igreja, uma monumental alameda e escadaria pontuada por estátuas e fontes simbólicas, este modelo teve amplas repercussões em Portugal e no Brasil. Conta a lenda que alguém colocou uma cruz no cimo do Monte Espinho e começaram a acontecer peregrinações naquele local. Nos 4º Domingos da Quaresma realizam-se procissões da Via Sacra e no 5º Domingo da Quaresma, uma procissão de penitência; existem outras festividades, nomeadamente, o Domingo de Ramos e o Divino Espirito Santo.
