Description

A romaria mais concorrida desta região é a de Santa Eufêmia, venerada na sua capela pela gente de Paranhos, que lhe tem grande devoção, e por inúmeros romeiros das terras próximas, mesmo de Viseu e Coimbra. Também é conhecida por “Santa Eufêmia dos Matos”, por se situar entre pinhais, a dois quilómetros de Paranhos, na estrada para a Urtigueira.

A festa principal tem lugar a 16 de Setembro mas também se realiza aí outra romaria na segunda-feira da Páscoa.

Para acolher todos os romeiros, foi aberto um amplo terreiro e contruído um moderno santuário junto à antiga capela, acolhedora mas pouco espaçosa.
