Description

Havia um mouro convertido que pescava por aqui e apanhava castanhas, tendo uma vida tranquila e de abundância que causava inveja a outros mouros não convertidos... Tentaram construir uma muralha para fechar o rio a fim de afogar o mouro cristão. As paredes construídas com tanto esforço durante o dia, apareciam desfeitas ao amanhecer. Um dia, o mouro que dirigia as obras sonhou com uma senhora com um capuz na cabeça e montada num burrito, que passava sobre as pedras e logo estas desapareciam no vale. Acordado, correu para a muralha e viu a "Maria do Capucho", mas não conseguiu alcançá-la. Compreendeu que se tratava de uma mensageira divina e desistindo foi ter com o mouro cristão.
