"Made in Germany.", "No. 4223." -- printed on back.; "This is the best preserved of all the Missions and is in constant use. It was founded by the Franciscan Friars in 1786. It is beautifully situated about two miles from the ocean at the foot of the Santa Ynez Mountains." -- printed on back.
