Description Die Kirche entstand, möglicherweise erst als Kapelle, um 1300. Aus etwa dem Jahr 1400 dürfte das dreischiffige Kirchenschiff stammen. Der quadratische Kirchturm an der Westseite entstand im 15. Jahrhundert. Das Ziffernblatt hat einen Durchmesser von zwei Metern. Nach einem Großbrand in Gingst 1726 erhielt der Turm seine geschweifte Haube. Die Stuckdecken in Chor und Mittelschiff entstanden nach 1726. Das Kastengestühl stammt aus der Zeit um etwa 1730. Die Orgel wurde 1790 von Christian Kindten erbaut.
